Byte Range Serving for PDF Documents

Support for byte range serving is available for all document types for which there is a corresponding viewer or plug-in for your Web browser.

For example, Adobe's Acrobat Viewer version 3.0 and greater, also known as Amber, supports byte range serving when installed as a plug-in for Netscape Navigator, or as an ActiveX control for Microsoft's Internet Explorer.
