Setting Path Defaults
You can specify the default paths for collections and files common across various SEARCH'97 applications. Do the following:
- 1. Click Server Setup on the menu bar.
- 2. Click Path Defaults on the Server Setup menu. Information Server displays the following page.

- 3. Enter default paths for collections or the common directory as desired. At installation, Information Server specifies the following:
- For the collection directory:
- installdir/s97is/colls/
- For the common directory:
- installdir/common/
- where installdir is the directory in which you installed Information Server.
