Setting Network Defaults

If your site uses a proxy server, you will need to specify the proxy host and port. To specify a proxy server, do the following:

: 1. Click Server Setup on the menu bar.
: 2. Click Network Options on the Server Setup menu. Information Server displays the following page.

: 3. Under HTTP Proxy, specify the proxy host and port number. You can specify the hostname or IP number for the proxy host.

If you specify a proxy host, the indexer will first try to index a site without the proxy. If it is not successful, it will proceed to index with the specified proxy host.
