Checking Your System Configuration
The first step in the Quick Start process is to check your system configuration. Information Server performs a comprehensive analysis to determine if any problems are present. To check your system configuration, do the following:
- 1. Click Quick Start on the menu bar.
- 2. Click Step 1, Check Your System Configuration on the Quick Start menu. Information Server displays the following page.

- 3. Click Begin Analysis. Both the icon and the text are hyperlinked.
- After completing the analysis, Information Server displays the Analysis Complete screen. Information Server will display any errors and specify corrective action. Otherwise, you will see the message:
- No errors were found in your configuration
- 4. Click Step 2, Index Your Web Site.
